Edible Park efforts in Uganda

​The Phoenix Voyage Tanzania Hamlet operations manager, Christopher Simwinga, introduced his friend and active global changemaker, Mathius Lukwago, to us in December. We are thrilled to have Mathius join the worldwide effort to eliminate poverty and hunger. 

The first Hamlet is in Luwero on 8 acres of land and already has a group of active volunteers!

NEW!  EDWARDS HAMLET UGANDA TEACHING AND TRAINING CENTER FOR ORGANIC FOOD GROWTH - Over 500 farmers have been trained in organic farming at the hamlet. It is becoming a center of excellence in the JINJA district

Walueeta Hamlet - 8 acres

With a population of almost a half a million people, the Walueeta Hamlet in Luwero District will be an example for others to create a Hamlet in the area as well.
In December 2017, the design patterns are being installed throughout the land by one of the volunteers!
July 2018 update: 16 interns  from MITYANA AGRO VET INSTITUTE are helping with the  Waluleeta  Hamlet in Luwero District for a month and a half!
